H&M and Margiela Said to Collaborate
Hennes & Mauritz AB is taking an avant-garde turn, WWD has learned.
According to market sources, the fast-fashion behemoth will soon announce that Maison Martin Margiela is its latest guest designer to produce a one-off collection.
A spokeswoman for H&M in Stockholm said, “We never comment on rumors.”
While controlled by Italian industrialist Renzo Rosso and designed by an in-house team, the Margiela label is still strongly associated with its namesake, press-shy founder, who exited the Paris-based house in 2009.
